Your image is interesting. A couple of things I would focus on:
Watch your edges and how hard they are. If you were to soften some of these edges it would go a long way to helping round your forms and creating volume. A hard edge traps the eye and prevents it from traveling, breaking the form. You want the eye to travel. Hard edges make things look as though they were cut out and pasted onto the background.
Also watch your use of black. If possible try to use a color, rather than black. Think temperature as well. Warm and cool. Warms come forward and cools recede.
