I like the lighting choices, color palate and posing you used. I think it the piece would have more impact if you went back and adjusted the perspective lines between the bed, the dresser, the floor and window. (If you changed the foot of the bed to angle towards the people and not away from them it would fit in with the lines of the room better.)
